The hosts were absolutely amazing, the view outstanding, and the service out of this world - thank you so much Barbara and Michael - this will definitely be our new place to stay when visiting family in Kloof

My mom and I had a delightful stay at the Far Place B&B.It was clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view. We enjoyed our breakfasts on the deck, overlooking Krantzkloof Nature Reserve, watching the hawks and being visited by the hornbill.Barbara and Michael are excellent hosts - amazingly kind, thoughtful and helpful - such lovely people!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Far place, especially the hospitality of Barbara and Michael. When the weather is good, you can eat at the deck that gives you a beautiful view of the Kloof. Barbara and Michael are used to the visit of the hornsbills every morning and evening, but for us it was really spectacular to see the birds in their garden. They serve a nice, fresh breakfast every morning and give you advise of what to do. The National Park is nearby and you can do nice walks in the forests or in the kloof. Really nice place to stay.

Michael and Barbara are simply lovely and could not have been more helpful. Their property is gorgeous, sitting on top of the gorge with amazing views and the best part: pure relaxation. They made a delicious English breakfast which we ate out on the deck every morning, and they provided all kinds of helpful information for our enquiring minds and logistical questions. We had a couple of friends over for a braai which was no...
