While the facilities were generally available, I encountered numerous issues during my research trip and will definitely not be recommending the facility to other researchers in future. We had constant issues with electricity outages. We were attacked by the owner's dog on the property. If little children present, it would definitely not be a safe place to stay. On our way to Port Alfred on the night of our reservation, we were unfortunate to have a serious car accident close to Kenton on Sea (please beware of cattle on the road after dark). Toni, our hostess was very helpful and we had a friendly reception fairly late that evening. The accommodation is spacious, clean and homely. Ideal for an overnight stay. Just a heads up, no credit card facilities.
