About Fairview Historic Homestead

This immaculately restored Cape Georgian house (circa 1861) offers bed and breakfast or self-catering accommodation. Free Wi-Fi and free parking on site. Swimming pool set in a beautiful garden and with view on the Outeniqua Mountain range. Conveniently located near to George CBD and the Garden Route Mall. We are located just half an hour away from the airport.

All rooms feature a flat-screen TV, a DVD player and tea/coffee making facilities. Two of the rooms have fireplaces. Four rooms are set on the ground floor, allowing limited mobility access.

Breakfast is prepared with the finest produce - either home grown or locally produced. Guests can choose from a range of full English, light and vegetarian breakfasts.

Safari: The Garden Route and its surrounds are not only home to spectacular beaches and forests — some of South Africa’s most prestigious safari lodges and game reserves are scattered along this stretch as well.

Beach: We are 8 km from Victoria Bay (our closest beach) 12 km from Wilderness as well as Herold’s Bay, 25 km from Sedgefield

Spa: indulge in facials, massages and other spa treatments in George. We are in close proximity to a number of Spas and massage salons

Golf: World famous golf courses such as Pezula, Fancourt and Pinnacle Point are all in close proximity to the guesthouse. Ernie Els’s signature 18 hole golf course, Oubaai, is located just 15km away.

Wedding Venues: Our beautiful garden brings together some of the important elements needed for your special photo shoot

Conference Venues: The guesthouse is in a quiet, safe neighborhood close to the shopping mall and business center of George

Family friendly: As our guest, you're welcome to relax in the social areas around the swimming pool, in the main lounge or on the patio overlooking the garden. Private braai/barbeque facilities are also available to guests in the self-catering apartment.
