About Fairhill Nature Reserve
Treat yourself to a unique fynbos experience in the heart of the beautiful Cape Overberg. Fairhill is a private nature and game reserve with fantastic sea and mountain views. The guest house is situated on some 200 hectares of pristine coastal property just outside Stanford, on the Stanford/Gansbaai road. The estate is part of the Walker Bay Fynbos and Nature Conservatory, and has direct access to the private and secluded 17 km Walker Bay Beach.
The house is fully furnished and serviced with five large en-suite bedrooms, spacious lounge, dining room, and a separate but smaller TV lounge. The well-equipped kitchen has all modern appliances including a dishwasher. Enjoy fantastic sunsets over Hermanus and Walker Bay from the front verandah, which boasts a 10-seater dining table.
The house offers four spacious bedrooms. Three rooms have king or double beds and the fourth room has two single beds. Attached to the house is a loft room with a queen-size bed downstairs, and a loft room with four single beds upstairs. All bedrooms are en-suite and open onto an outside verandah, and all bathrooms have baths and showers. Personal laundry can be arranged on request at an additional fee.
Take a leisurely walk through the estate and savour the smell of indigenous herbs and fynbos flowers. Alternatively, use our game viewing Land Rover to track down the herd of eland buck, or enjoy the fantastic views on a meandering drive to the beach.
