Please be aware that there are two dogs and a cat on the premises. The dogs are extremely friendly, loving and gentle. Estuary Rest overlooks the Knysna Lagoon and famous Heads. This is the ideal cottage for two, with private lock-up parking and the Waterfront with its selection of shops and restaurants is a mere 15-minute walk away.This luxury self-catering cottage features a fully equipped kitchen, full DStv and a large en-suite bathroom. There is a spacious bedroom with a queen-size bed that leads onto the private deck with braai facilities.The town of Knysna offers endless opportunity for leisure and outdoor adventures. Guests can hike up the mountains, explore the lakes and rivers, or casually amble around the craft shops, flea markets and intimate cafés dotted in the area.Knysna is home to the only forest elephant in South Africa, the rare pansy shell, as well as the elusive Knysna loerie, and a flood of waterfowl, dolphins and visiting whales.
