About Esperance Farmstay - Manor House

Explore the beauty and versatility of the Breede River Valley from our fully equipped self-catering facility, conveniently situated 10 km from Worcester on the R60 road to Robertson. Bed and breakfast options can also be arranged.

Enjoy the comfort of this typical Cape Dutch Manor House on a working wine and dairy farm. This five-bedroom guest house features a modern, spacious walk-in shower room, an open-plan lounge with DStv, a real countryside kitchen with its own table and six chairs, and a private patio with a view towards the majestic mountains. There is an enclosed garden and barbecue facilities, which leads to the swimming pool. In winter the fireplace with Queen Anne’s stove creates a warm intimate ambience to be enjoyed with a glass of local red wine.

We have a nice porch\stoep in Victorian style for guests to enjoy a serene view of the vineyards and mountains and the beautiful garden with a grand oak tree.

We stayed over a long weekend at Esperance Farmstay and used it as a base from which to explore McGregor, Robertson, Ceres and the Matroosberg. The owners (and their pet Ridgebacks) were very friendly, warm and welcoming. The venue is perfect for a weekend away of max 4.

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay at Esperance. Our accommodation was adequate and comfortable. Marike and her husband were very hospitable and Bella was extremely helpful. Thanks for a great time away.
