Clarens is not known as the adventure capital for anything and offers self-catering, bed, and breakfast or hotel accommodation and the activities that support this demand. It offers good trout fishing, both dam, and natural river fishing. The Sterkfontein dam, which is about an hours drive away offers some of the best yellow fish fishing in South Africa. It is also spectacular horse riding country. Clarens offers the visitor a very wide variety of activities such as hot air ballooning, river rafting, horse riding, trout fishing, 4×4 tracks, on and off-road cycling, quad biking, abseiling, tennis, golf, archery, and putt-putt. Clarens ensures that everybody, from nature lovers who want to relax and drink in the surrounding beauty, to the more active who want to wander into the mountains or to the real adventure seekers looking for an adrenaline rush or a new thrill – you can all count on a truly remarkable stay. Clarens is part of the scenic Highlands Route and is surrounded by the Rooiberge, and not far away are the majestic Maluti mountains which border Lesotho. Everywhere you look you will see the multi-colored layers in the sandstone cliffs which is a unique geological feature and add to the majestic beauty of the area. The nearest Lesotho border post is half an hour away and opens up the whole Lesotho kingdom to the traveler who enjoys skiing, mountains and rough terrain, all set in the spectacular mountain beauty of this country.

- The Guest warrants that they satisfied themselves prior to arrival as to the condition and facilities offered by the guest house and are satisfied that they will suite the Guests requirements during their stay.
- The Guest's account must be paid in full before occupying the guest house.
- Only the number of Guests booked and paid for are permitted to occupy the Guest House.
- All bank charges and fees are payable by the Guest & will be added to the Guests account.
- Check in after 14:00

- No loud noise & music - please respect your neighbours.
- No smoking allowed inside the guesthouses.
- Please report breakages.
- Maximum 2 cars are allowed. Please park your car/s where they will not interfere with any other cars or Guests.

- The Guest House Owner, Management or Staff will not be responsible or liable for any damages caused by or to the Guests Pet/s. Any damage or additional expense caused by the Guests Pet/s will be for the Guests account.
- Guests are required to keep control over their Pet/s particularly when in a shared public area by keeping them on a leash and under supervision.
- Maximum 2 small pets allowed. Large dogs are allowed by arrangement only.
- Pets must be house trained & sleep on their own bedding, which the Guest must supply.
- No pets allowed on furniture or beds.
- Pick up all poops & dispose of into toilet or bin.
