Our bedroom and separate bathroom [shower, bath, loo and basin] was spacious, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had dinners and breakfasts in the Inn and these were well prepared and presented. The Inn is being refurbished and I hope that some of the old "character" is retained in the process [old photos and memoribilia]. The location is a bit dodgy with high noise levels in the main street at times [we were in a street side room], so if noise worries you, select a room at the back. Very good value for money and recommended.

We spent one night at the beautiful newly renovated Duke of Bedford Inn. The whole experience exceeded our expectations by far! The staff were friendly and accommodating, the rooms are superbly finished and very comfortable. The ladies lounge was a lovely spot to sit and relax with a cup of coffee after visiting the beautiful village Rosarium. Breakfast was wholesome and tasty and a good start to our day of visiting beautiful gardens during the Bedford Garden Show. Will definitely be back again next year. Highly recommended!!
