About Dovecote Cottage
Dovecote Cottage is located in the jewel of the Overberg, Hermanus. This cottage is set on the historic Flower Street; only minutes from the beach and within walking distance to the centre of Hermanus.
The cottage which can sleep four, offers a large master bedroom with an en suite bathroom. There is, in addition, an alcove off the sitting-room with twin beds. This accommodation is generally more suited to either a couple or parents with one or two children. This is because access to the only shower-room passes through the corner of the main bedroom-en-suite. There may be privacy issues for a different composition of guests.
The kitchen is fully equipped and the lounge area has a TV with DStv.
Hermanus is popular for whale watching from June to December, shark cage diving and many other water sports. Visitors can wander through the craft market or meander to the art galleries.
Family friendly: Dovecote's beautiful garden is completely walled with an electric gate creating a safe environment for young children. There are two separate bedrooms and a well-appointed kitchen ideal for family meals and suitable for table activities.
Romantic: Dovecote’s main bedroom-en-suite (king-sized bed) is spacious and elegantly furnished with cane and antique yellow-woods. The quite separate sitting/tv room is cosy and the kitchen dining area is perfect for one of those intimate meals “at home”.
