Doringbos is a fully equipped, authentic thatched house that offers an unforgettable getaway in Big 5 country. It is nestled in 4000 hectares of South African bush where animals roam freely. The property is located within five minutes walking distance of the Crocodile River that offers a magnificent view into the world famous Kruger National Park.

Safari: Wildlife roam freely through the conservancy which borders the Kruger National Park.

All of Doringbos rates are quoted in South African Rand unless otherwise stated. Once a guest has checked in at Doringbos, there is no refund of the booking fees whatsoever to guests or their agents or tour operators who made the booking.  We recommend that you take out insurance against cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances.  If you wish to change to an alternate date and your booking has already been confirmed, you may do so subject to availability.  However, should a transfer be made three weeks prior to travel, cancellation fees will apply if your length of stay is reduced.  All reservations are made on the express condition that Doringbos, its owners and agents shall not be responsible for and shall be exempt from all liability in respect of any loss, damage or accident, delay or inconvenience to any person, or his luggage or other property.  Doringbos and its owners accept no liability for any injury, loss, accident delay or any other irregularity howsoever occasioned.

      We liked the house and outside areas. Because we were not allowed to make a fire in the lapa we didn't make use of it, but the open braai area was wonderful. We sat around the fire in the dark and waited for the bushbabies to appear, enjoying the night animal sounds. When we filled the small drinking dam several animals came for a drink: Bushbuck, sebra, vlakvark, monkies. Giraffe popped in and Kudu walked past. Even an Ostrich family came into the yard to say hallo. The kitchen and cooking utensils, pots and pans are a disappointment. Everything is old and heavily used. Loads of coffee cups...

      All was 100% with accomodation and facility, only one thing would have been nice if we could have been notified ti bring bkack bags for refuse

      Taps in shower do not work.Taps in kitchen leak.Asked to always close windows...battle to close as most are broken.Fan in main bedroom comes on but does not move air. Establishment Response: Thank you for your feedback. Please be advised that maintenance has been conducted and all faulty implements have been replaced or fixed.

      our time in Marloth Park was awesome. It was great to wake up and wonder "what am I going to see today?" the house was super. even the weather played along, not too hot.
