Cycad Rock Fishing Lodge is located right next to the Jozini Dam in KwaZulu-Natal and offers ideal accommodation for keen anglers. This area is especially famous for tiger fishing and guests have access to the Jozini Dam which extends into Swaziland. The Fish Eagle Cottage has two bedrooms that sleep four guests. The main bedroom has a king-size bed and the second room has two single beds. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and basin. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed for carefree self-catering accommodation. There is seating and braai facilities on the large veranda where guests can enjoy themselves.

The Tarentaal cottage also has two bedrooms. The open-plan master bedroom has a queen-size bed and four single beds. The second bedroom has a double bed and two single beds. There is an open-plan kitchen and dining room and one bathroom. The veranda with braai facilities and seating offers a view of the dam.

Firefly Cottage has a bedroom, a kitchen and an open-plan lounge area. The bedroom has a double bed. The bathroom has a shower, double basin and a toilet. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, crockery and cutlery. The lounge area has comfortable sofas and a TV with selected DStv channels and leads onto the veranda with outdoor seating and a portable braai.

There is a jetty, and a boat is available for fishing and pleasure rides. The lodge also offers a campsite for tents and 4x4 caravans.

Cycad Rock Fishing Lodge has a swimming pool there are lovely lawns on which children can frolic. The area boasts a rich bird life, there is a nature reserve nearby and Sodwana Bay is only an hour's drive away.
