Getting to Chobe River Camp is a breeze. From Katima Mulilo, simply follow the B8 in a southerly direction towards Ngoma. Turn left onto the D3512 and follow the signs that lead you to our remarkable camp. Alternatively, you can take the A33 towards Ngoma, then turn right onto the B8 towards Katima. After traveling 12 kilometers, turn right onto the D3512 and follow the signs to Chobe River Camp.

Please note that due to heavy rains experienced since early January, the access road to Chobe River Camp may be closed to low or all vehicles. To ensure a seamless arrival, we have placed a sign with our contact details at the turn-off on B8. Give us a call and we will happily arrange for your safe transfer to our camp, either directly or via the Ngoma border Police station. Your vehicle can be securely parked at the police station during your stay with us.

To make the most of your time, please keep in mind that the border opens at 07h00 and closes at 18h00. All arrivals and departures should be scheduled within this timeframe. Kindly communicate your estimated time of arrival to Chobe River Camp so that we can ensure a timely pick-up arrangement.

As you traverse the mesmerizing landscapes of Namibia, we kindly advise you to stay informed about road conditions and proceed with caution. Your safety and well-being are our utmost priorities.

Please be aware that from mid-August, the water levels of the Chobe River begin to recede. This may affect water-based activities, such as boat cruises, with limited access to river channels. Rest assured, we will make every effort to maintain these activities as long as the water level permits, always prioritizing the safety of our cherished guests.
