About Chappys Cushion

Chappys Cushion and the construction thereof was started in 2007 as a family home away from home. We saw the potential in a deserted run-down farmhouse set amongst pineapple fields in the 1820 Settlers Country, and a decision was made to develop the land and so Chappys Cushion was born.

Accommodation comprises a large Bunkhouse, ideal for groups, and seven En-suite Family Rooms. Features include a licensed bar, games room, large swimming pool, and boma fireplace.

Best thing about this place is the friendly staff, but they lack guidance. Family room is very spacious but still uncomfortable e.g. no space to put a vanity bag in the bathroom. Much too expensive for a room sleeping a family of 4. Decor is the worst African kitchen, skimpy curtains. Place is clean but grounds are poorly maintained - weeds in gravel and long grass.

A fantastic place to stay, great for families, couples, businessmen and corporates looking or a quiet place for Brain Storming sessions.
