All the cottages are fully equipped for self-catering and linen is provided, although towels are not supplied. The units features fireplaces, TVs with DSTV, as well as covered verandahs with barbecue facilities. The cottages are also serviced daily, with the exception of public holidays.

A tarred road extends to our front gate and provides easy access to the many amenities in the area which include hotels, restaurants, golf courses and a variety of outdoor activities, all within an eight to 15-minute drive. The resort, a two-hour drive from Durban and a four-hour drive from Johannesburg, is ideal for a weekend getaway. While the accommodation was a lot more basic than we expected it was still very comfortable and homey. The mattresses on the beds were pretty sad and after 10 days our backs were killing us. The photos on the website were also somewhat misleading and really need to include the view - which the eagle lodge was missing due to the thick - we assume - planted wind break. We fell in love with your delightful flat faced kitty who moved in with us for the period. Just wish we could have taken her home.

The honeymoon couple was very disappointed with the quality of things in the chalet. The sheets were torn, there were no towels and not even a bit of dishwashing liquid. The cottages really need some attention. The location however was wonderful.
