About Carrington Lodge

Carrington Lodge offers elegance, comfort and hospitality in the Diamond City.

Enjoy luxury accommodation in a warm friendly atmosphere. Each room has hospitality tray, a bar fridge, own TV and either a roof fan or aircon. For the cold winter months there is an electric heater and electric blanket. Choose whether you'd like to relax in the spacious gardens around the pool at the lapa, or enjoy a game of snooker in the bar. Both indoor and outdoor braai/barbecue facilities available. Scrumptious home-cooked breakfasts are served in the comfortable dining room. Dinners are served on weekdays by prior arrangement.

We are close to the city centre, hospital and restaurants. Guided tours of historical Kimberley, as well as underground mining tours can be arranged. We also have secure parking. Children welcome. All major credit cards accepted.

Conference Venues: We can accommodate 20 people max. The White board and data projector is provided.

Family friendly: We encourage families to stop over big luscious secure gardens for children to run around and play in and have 4 family rooms for families to occupy ... two swimming pools

              This place has potential but needs a lot of TLC and maintenance. Our request for 2 x single bed was not addressed. We also had no coffee in our room and had to request coffee be supplied.

              We have stayed before, and returned mainly for the location which is very convenient. The gardens are lovely, and although the establishment is in the city of Kimberly, it remains quiet and secluded from the hustle and bustle. The only downside is lack of maintenance on some of the fiittings and furnishings.
