The shower in the main bathroom needs to be cleaned and the pressure adjusted. It was a very unpleasant experience. One can see the cottage is old and needs repair and repaint all round. The cutlery and crockery in the kitchen was not well cleaned we had to wipe all cups, pots and cutlery before use. Not good value for money at all.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cape Cottage. A nice relaxed beach cottage feel to the house, great views from the deck if you want to stay in, but also great walking proximity to most of the best of what Scarborough has to offer - the beach and the few lovely little restaurants.

Great setting, in walking distance to the beach, and a charming cottage, but needs some TLC.

The rustic look of the cottage....it felt like a real beach house! The view was amazing and the big enclosed backyard for our dogs. We loved everything about the house and Scarborough and can't wait to return there.

The bathrooms are a old and could do with an upgrade. The upstairs shower curtain is very old and grubby.
