About Bushwillow Tented Camp

Situated in Muldersdrift only 30 minutes from both Johannesburg and Pretoria, Bush Willow Tented Camp offers a unique experience. The small tented camp is built in a sector of Glenburn Lodge which is surrounded by indigenous bush at the foot of the Zwartkops Mountains, on the banks of the Blaauwbank River.

Accommodation comprises ten large comfortable walk-in tents, sleeping between four and six people each, with hot indoor showers and a small kitchenette. All meals are prepared and enjoyed in the thatched boma area where one can relax with a glass of wine while the tantalizing aroma of food fills the air. The tented camp can be booked exclusively by a group in conjunction with the full take-up of all the tents, accommodating up to 60 people. Please note that from the second night onwards, guests will pay a cheaper rate per tent, hence we advise guests to request the appropriate tariffs. Guests can bring their own bedding or it can be supplied at an additional cost of R70.

The latest addition to the Glenburn offering is Glenwillow conference venue within the Bush Willow Tented Camp. Ideally situated on the Blaauwbank River, this venue accommodates between 20 and 60 guests for conferences. A thatch gazebo overlooking the mountain can be utilised as a breakaway area. Established team building companies are rating this venue as one of the best in Gauteng due to its natural surroundings and ample space for team building activities, drumming and fire-walking. In addition to this, the exclusive use of a heated swimming pool, access to river fishing as well as nature walks along marked trails in the mountain are some of the leisure activities available.

With rugby, hockey, cricket and gym facilities, Bush Willow is an inviting option for school, provincial and international sport teams requiring training facilities. Glenburn Lodge is a proud sponsor of the Golden Lions who utilise the facilities for training purposes.

If an Africa-inspired wedding is on your wedding wish list, look no further than Bush Willow Tented Camp where a boma, indigenous vegetation and river frontage awaits you in the shade of the Zwartkops Mountain. Ideally situated on the Blaauwbank River, Bush Willow Tented Camp offers a fun-filled alternative for weddings with its boma, ten tents and heated swimming pool. Each tent accommodates up to six guests and is equipped with a kitchenette, hot water shower and toilet. Standard bedding and duvets can be provided or brides may choose to involve the services or a décor or rental company to decorate the tents. This secluded venue accommodates between 20 and 60 guests for weddings. A thatch gazebo overlooking the mountain is utilised as a chapel. The area can be exclusively booked by a group in conjunction with the full take-up of all the tents, accommodating up to 60 persons at a very competitive rate. Although the tented camp is a self-catering venue for leisure guests, weddings can be catered for by Glenburn Lodge and an extensive range of mouth-watering menus are available.
