Bushriver Lodge is situated 25 km from Hoedspruit and 50 km from the Phalaborwa gate of the Kruger National Park.

We cater for the discerning guest with luxury accommodation situated on the banks of the Olifants River.

We offer game drives on the private game lodge and also in the Big 5 reserves. All camps are fully-equipped for self-catering.

We have a private landing strip 3 km from the main lodge and Eastgate/Phalaborwa airports have daily flights from Johannesburg's OR Tambo International Airport.

Whilst the main part of the the lodge is really nice and portrays the" bush feel"  the river house by comparison was very disappointing.We did not expect a blockhouse with a flat tin roof in the middle of the bush.Inside finishes are rather old and shabby.On the plus side the decks and unique pool area are lovely,the accommodation is very clean,staff friendly and helpful, but I do feel my overseas guests missed something of the African experience.The album photos only show the best part.Also a bit disappointed that there is no self drive game viewing.We had a pregnant woman in our group and...

Dit is een van die mooiste plekke wat ek al beleef het. Soveel waarde vir my geld gekry. Die olifants rivier is 5m van jou kamer af - die mooiste natuur skoon en die kamer was iets uit 'n tydskrif. Die diens self kon nie beter gewees het nie.
