About Branksome Country House
Branksome Country House offers accommodation on the working Branksome farm in the Southern Drakensberg. The Vosloo family who have lived in the area for years own and manage the guesthouse. It is the perfect place to relax and escape from the busy city life. It is in a remote valley, away from society in nature. A calm environment to rest.
The rooms are each named and decorated according to an important part of the Vosloo's family history. The rooms do not have TV's so guests can really appreciate the surroundings. The accommodation is offered in five stylish rooms with a mountain view. The rooms each have a private patio, queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin. There is also an attic room with two single beds in each room.
Guests can relax in the lounge or in the restaurant and bar, The Trout and Hound. Breakfast is planned according to guests' activities of the day. Guests can dine all day and dinner is available.
Activities in the area include hiking, mountain biking and hiking, as well as fly fishing in the Sterkspruit River.
