We had a great stay at Brackenhills. When we arrived Simon had already lit a big fire for braai for us. The whole place is absolutely breathtaking. The tents are spacious and provide you with everything you need. The beds were the most comfortable ones that we had so far in SA. We especially loved the outdoor bathroom. On the next day we enjoyed a great and tatsy breakfast. Simon even took us on a Jeep trip to his buffaloes. We'll definitively come back to this beautiful place with this most welcoming and friendly hosts!

Our group enjoyed a braai and a beautiful evening dinner at the large central table on the campsite and enjoyed a nice quiet evening by the fire (with some playtime with the adorable dog Sir Montgomery). In the morning, Simon and Lee took us on a drive to see the buffalo having their morning meal and told us all about the conservation and breeding project the reserve...
