About Tuli Safari Lodge

The Northern Tuli Game Reserve is a hidden gem. Tucked away in the easternmost corner of Botswana, it is a unique, timeless part of Africa with spectacular wildlife, breath-taking landscapes and a fascinating history.

Between Tuli’s time-sculpted kopjes and the legendary Limpopo River lies the Tuli Safari Lodge. The lodge could easily be described as a most welcome surprise, a verdant oasis in a ruggedly beautiful wilderness, and a yin to Tuli’s yang.

The lodge offers just eleven elegant suites nestled in peaceful, spacious gardens shaded by ancient trees. All the suites can be made up as doubles or twins and are large enough to accommodate two children under 12 on single beds sharing with their parents if required. We can pair suites for families or friends who would like some separation without being too far apart.

All children are welcome at Tuli Safari Lodge under strict adult supervision. Children under the age of two will be at no charge when sharing with two adults. Please inquire for rates for children aged 2 to twelve years.

Time spent in this relaxing retreat complements the varied safari adventures in the reserve beyond the lodge gates. These include guided game walks, hides visits, horse rides, community visits, after dinner drives and day trips to Mapungubwe National Park and World Heritage site

Tuli is easily accessible from South Africa, and fits in well with a trip incorporating the Waterberg, Kruger National Park and the World Heritage site of Mapungubwe. It is also a natural staging post en-route to the Kalahari, Okavango or Chobe, and on to Victoria Falls.

Such is the magical soul of Tuli. We look forward to sharing it with you.

Spa: There are lots of activities available, which include night drives, community visits, a day trip to Mapungubwe National Park and World Heritage site, half-day horseback safaris and an excursion to the confluence of the Limpopo and Shashe rivers.

The weekend at Tuli Safari Lodge was a present from us, the children to my Mom and Dad on their 50th wedding anniversary. They thoroughly enjoyed it although it rained 127mm during the weekend and got soaked on the game drives but nevertheless enjoyed it very much. Specially when drinking sundowners on a open Land rover while the rain came down. Thank you to all the staff, Brinny, Moskou and Nic, to make this unforgettable. They went through a dry river bed on Friday and came back on Sunday with the cable car over a flooded Limpopo river. It's very safe to leave your car at the border post....

I cannot make words adequately describe the fantastic time I had at Tuli: from the animals seen (including my first Leopard); guides who don't just know about the animals but also know their habits and ways from living a lifetime amongst them; wonderful surrounds; and, kindly staff, an experience that I shall treasure for the rest of my life and yes, I will be back, soon I hope.

Molema camp site was clean and professionally presented by the camp manager. He assisted us in every wish and we would like to compliment him on his excellent services provided to us!!

Accommodation is fantastic and well serviced - the game drives were 'something else' despite not seeing a lion! OK tried so hard and looked after us so well - his driving was superlative - particularly up the steep banks! Confluence experience was unforgettable - though perhaps future guests should be advised of the steep climb! Meals were great - especially enjoyed the 'boma' Friendly, helpful staff - we had a great time there and would heartily recommend Tuli Lodge! Thanks to all of you out there!
