It is truly a place where you can revive your spirit and get back to nature, without any interruptions from the outside world.

Boschfontein is a lovely getaway, but then you should travel to the farm and remain there for the full duration of your stay. The road to the farm is a bumpy dirt road, and the road from the farm house to the self-catering cottages is a 2km stretch of bad road for which you need at least an LDV. We were not prepared for no electricity; we stayed there in order to attend functions in Thabazimbi, which made preparations difficult. Be sure to arrive in daytime to familiarize yourself with the area and the facilities. Friendly, helpful owners and indeed a spectacular view.

We had a very relaxing stay at Boschfontein farm, in the chalet for 2 people.  It is rustic accommodation with an outdoor kitchen using a gas fridge and oven, a 'donkey' boiler for hot water and a solar battery for lighting.  The views are amazing and it was very peaceful!

A beautiful, tranquil place to stay. Old style farm hospitality form Louis Botha and his lovely wife.I stayed only one night but it felt like I have known the Bothas a long time. They went out of their way to make me feel at home, and Louis even took me for a drive to the far end of his farm, although this was not part of my reservation arrangements. My room for the night was comfortable and clean, and breakfast was super.I can recommend Boschfontein Guest Farm any time.
