The inn is six miles from the world-famous Jackson Hole Ski Area at Teton Village and the south entrance to Grand Teton National Park. The inn is six miles from the town of Jackson and 12 miles from the Jackson Hole Airport. It is a spectacularly scenic 65 mile drive through the National Elk Refuge and Grand Teton National Park to the south entrance to Yellowstone National Park.
Few hotels or inns in Jackson Hole still offer the unique character and qualities found at the Bentwood Inn. It is so unique as to be the only Select Registry inn in Wyoming. The inn is situated in a beautiful wooded setting, across from a tree-lined path leading to the Snake River, just a few casts away. The majestic Teton Mountains backdrop the inn, providing that picture perfect image of what you’re looking for when you come to Jackson Hole.
The Bentwood Inn is constructed with massive 200 year old logs brought in from Yellowstone National Park. This architectural splendour touches the senses; grand, luxurious, relaxing, cosy are just a few of the comments our guests have made. Whether you are looking at the massive three-storey high river rock fireplace or settling into one of the inn’s cosy rooms with personal fireplaces and spa tubs to help you unwind, you too will feel your senses touched. This is the place you were looking for. This is the romance you have read about in novels.
Enjoy the bed and breakfast ambience or find a peaceful nook to read a book; you will not have the cacophony of a hotel lobby at the Bentwood. Alternatively, take in nature watching birds and wild animals from the inn’s decks and balconies. Don’t be surprised to see a herd of elk or a stray moose give you a friendly nod. Snow in the winter and a wild array of colourful flowers in the spring and summer. But best of all, you will not want to miss the fall colours in Jackson Hole - it's simply spectacular.
Jackson Hole offers everything you can do on a vacation; hike, bike or in-line skate on 200 miles of paved nearly level trails set safely apart from traffic, world-famous powder skiing at Jackson Hole, river and lake fishing, white water rafting, canoeing, kayaking, horseback riding on wilderness trails, paragliding, hot-air ballooning and mountain climbing. Or enjoy a winter sleigh ride through the National Elk Refuge or fine dining at one of the many gourmet level restaurants. Shop till you drop in one of the galleries, gift shops and top brand clothing stores in historic, picturesque town of Jackson. Jackson Hole has it all.
We invite you to come and experience the charming ambiance of the Bentwood Inn at Jackson Hole, as beautiful as the Teton Mountains and National Parks that surround it.
