Guest toiletries are provided and sliding doors in each room offer guests the opportunity to privately enjoy the view. In the entertainment and kitchen area you can sit and read, enjoy your favourite DStv show, or just hang out around the dining table. The kitchen has all the tools to prepare a delicious meal. Of course, there is ample opportunity to braai, especially since Belle Vue is completely sheltered from the turbulent South Easter.

There is a winding path between the fynbos, which leads down the hill to the harbour for use by Belle Vue guests only. Secure parking for one vehicle is provided.Your hostess will welcome you with a basket full of delicious surprises! Belle Vue is indeed an accommodation experience to remember!

Things to do in Yzerfontein:

1. Bird watchers can try and spot the endangered Black Tobie on the beach or head to the saltpans to view the Pelicans and Flamingos.
2. Be on the lookout for Southern Right and Humpback whales who frequent the area for most of the year.
3. Enjoy the indigenous gardens, which can be seen everywhere.
4. The main beach is the original area where former farmers of the area used to stockpile their cattle.
5. Visit and view the rock excavations located just before the harbour entrance.
6. Visit the Kalkbranders, located next to the oldest building in Yzerfontein, the Fish House, and learn about its history.
7. Visit the beach near Kelp Street during low tide and try and spot the abandoned tractor. Locals will be able to fill you in on the background story while you get to know the area.
8. Order a picnic basket, visit Schaapeiland and take a walk along the footpath to the harbour.
9. Enjoy the sunset from the harbour wall and look out over Meeurots with the 16 Mile Beach in the distance.
10. Enjoy some Gift Shop shopping by popping in at Pretty Cute, Wild Flour, PeriWinkles, and Blikaspaai.

• Upon your inquiry for accommodation a quote will be provided to you.
• A 30 % deposit is payable upon reservation to reserve the apartment and full payment is required prior to occupation.
• A minimum stay of two nights per booking is required during high season.
• The person responsible for making the reservations and payment should ensure that all persons in their party have read these terms and conditions and accept full responsibility and liability thereof.
• It is the guest’s responsibility to check the apartment and to report any defect or problem to the owner at the time of taking occupancy.
• You are welcome to check in from 14:00 to 18:00 (or later, by arrangement) on the day of arrival and required to hand the keys in by 10:00 on the day of departure.
• Only paying guests are allowed on the premises. Depending on the number of guests booked, there might be room (keeping in mind the maximum of 4) for visitors to sleep over, however, this may only be done with the prior permission of the owners and will attract additional charges per person per night.
• The right of admission is reserved and strictly applied.
• Cancellation longer than 30 days, 100 % refundable.
• Cancellation between 29 days and 15 days, 75 % refundable.
• Cancellation between 14 and 7 days, 50 % refundable.

Breakage and damages:
• We will not charge you breakage or key deposit, but we kindly request that you inform us of any damage.
• Bath towels are supplied, but not for use on the beach. Guests should provide their own beach towels.
• This is a self-catering facility, but if you stay for longer than 5 days, a cleaning fee of R150 applies, charged every 5 days.
• There is a laundry service in town.
• Fresh bed linen and towels will be supplied every 5th day.
• Cleaning materials are provided.
• Refuse may be placed in the bin outside.
• The drains in Yzerfontein are Municipal pump drains, therefore, please use only toilet paper in the toilets. Bins are provided for any other items that need to be disposed of.
Safety, health, environment and security:
• This is a non-smoking facility, but you are welcome to smoke outside, providing that you dispose of cigarette butts in a responsible way, due to the surrounding flora being a high fire risk.
• We ask that guests respect the environment at all times.
• Please help us by using water responsibly.
• Even though Yzerfontein is statistically a low crime area, caution should still be taken and the premises be locked when you are away.

      Very nice location, everything is neat and you have all you need. This is however better for a short stay as it does not have a fitted kitchen.The view is stunning but the I think the price is a bit high.

      The apartment was lovely, spotless with lovely linen . We had everything we needed. Our hosts gave us a warm welcome. The sea view is stunning.
