About B and B at The Castle

Our home resembles a 12th-century English castle, but the interior has the comfort and style associated with South African homes. Located in the coastal sub-tropical region of the Eastern Cape, the hillside garden and its surrounding vegetation blends in with the ocean breezes.

We offer two large units for families or self-catering travellers and one unit for a single or double sharing. The larger unit has one queen-size bed and two single beds in a bunk arrangement. Adjacent to these units is a fully furnished kitchen. The smaller unit is the typical B&B bedroom. All units have en-suite showers. They have separate entrances and are walking distance from the beaches and a 5 Star hotel and pub. Off-street parking is available.

The two larger units can be taken together, and with the kitchen are completely private, for families or groups wanting two bedrooms.

The stay was great . The rooms was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was tasty. The owner is friendly. My only gripe is the dstv was not working . But overall it's a good place to stay .

Cosy place, loved the look with well set place to to relax. Would like to stay for longer next time when I drive through East London. If I have to give a recommendation it would be to have a door in the enterance of the bathroom rather than a curtain. But thats a minor

The best place to be in East London (Beacon Bay - B n B at The Castle). A very serene environment where one wakes up to the sound of birds chirping and clean fresh air!!!! Also loved the proximity of the B n B to the beach & city center.

Besides being given a smaller unit than I paid for, the fridge was smelly and the pillow cases weren't clean. There was bird poop on the walls in the bathroom next to the toilet. Well I paid for unit 2 and was given unit one. Not sure if Safari will refund me some cash back or whether all the units attract the same fee. All I know is I would have gotten a better place with what I paid.
