Our stay at Barnfires was an awesome break away from the city. Everything you could expect from this facility was not only available, but had more to offer. The staff were really friendly and the facility itself really smart and comfortable for a bush based setting.

We enjoyed our stay but do have some 'constructive criticism'.  There are no ceilings in the bedrooms so there is very little privacy and every little noise from one end of the house to the other is heard everywhere.  Barnfires is also right next door to stables so the flies at this time of the year are terrible.  Both these problems detracted from our stay especially as we had a 4 month old baby with us.  However, we would certainly go again if both these issues could somehow be sorted.  The river frontage that belongs to Barnfires is beautiful.
