The ANNEX offers affordable three-bedroom home attractively furnished, comfortable accommodation in Brighton Beach, peaceful suburb of Bluff (Durban). The Annex has a central location, within 15 minutes drive to Durban CBD and its many attractions, makes it an ideal choice for holiday and business visitors wishing to experience everything that Durban has to offer.
ARRIVAL / CHECK IN : FROM 15H00
Prior arrangement to be made in advance before day of arrival and agreed upon for an earlier arrival. Earlier arrival subject to the unit being vacant and ready for occupation.
We are 5 minutes drive from the ANNEX White House Self Catering Accommodation. To avoid waiting for us at the ANNEX White House, please give us a call/sms when you are about 15 minutes away from Durban so that we can meet with you at the ANNEX on your arrival to hand over the keys and collect any outstanding amounts. Refundable breakage deposit of R400 is also payable on arrival.

No persons other than those quoted for, are permitted to share the accommodation at ANNEX White House. Should we find that other persons are sharing the accommodation unit those persons will be asked to leave the accommodation unit immediately and the guest will be liable to pay an additional R250 per extra person calculated from the day of arrival until date of departure.
Maximum occupancy must be adhere to at all times and includes children of all ages.
Should the maximum occupancy be exceeded guests will be asked to leave / vacate the premises immediately and the guests will not be entitled to a refund.
Our guest are not allowed to host private parties/functions at ANNEX The White House or have overnight guests that we have not agreed to.
Parking at your (Guest) own risk.
ANNEX is serviced daily (available between 08h00 – 10h00), making of beds & washing of dishes. No service available on Sundays and Public Holidays.
The Washing Machine in die Kitchen is for the use of the Cleaning Staff and not for the guests use.
LINEN and TOWELS
We supply One Bath Towel per Adult Guest - Extra bath towels are available @ R 35.00 each. Prior arrangement before day of arrival to be made for extra Bath Towels. No BeachTowels (please remember to bring your own).
Linen and Towels are change free of charge once a week for stays of eight consecutive nights or longer.
DAMAGES / BREAKAGES / SHORTAGES
After check-in any damages / breakages / shortages must be reported before 09h00 the following morning - thereafter the guest / corporate will be liable for damages / breakages / shortages.
Should damages / breakages / shortages occur the Breakage Deposit will only be refunded within 21 days after all breakages / damages / shortages had been replaced ~ should the cost of the damaged / broken / missing item/s be more than the R400 refundable breakage deposit levied, the guest / corporate will be liable for payment of the outstanding balance within 7 days of invoice - thereafter legal steps will be taken to ensure re-payment.
Damaged / Broken item/s will be replaced ~ we do not send damaged / broken items for repair ~ the unit must be ready and complete for new guests arriving
Should breakages / damages / shortages occur the guest / corporate will be liable for the cost of the replacement/s as it appears on the inventory list available in the Kitchen.
Should a guest prefer to replace a broken / missing item the item must be replaced by exactly the same item and not by a similar item. If we can’t match the item (eg DinnerPlate), the set of 6 DinnerPlates will be replaced.
Should breakages / damages occur and the guest / corporate request us for the damaged / broken items we will post / courier the damaged / broken item/s to the guest / corporate at their expense or Guests must please make prior arrangement to collect.
Should we encounter any breakages / damages / shortages we will notify the guest / corporate at our earliest convenience, within seven days after the date of departure, thereof - Excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
Additional costs will be charged should there be any damages to carpets, linen, blankets and towels - Damages includes dirty carpets that need washing, cigarette burn marks to carpets and furniture , blankets and linen that need washing due to cigarette smoke as well as any stains to towels and carpets. No smoking inside the ANNEX White House - There is an area outside that is protected from the elements and fine for this purpose.
Please take care using the Glass-Top Hob – Don’t drag items across the surface – it will scratch.
ANNEX The White House are equipped with a DSTV Decoder and Card with selected channels.
ANNEX The White House is a NON-SMOKING Establishment. Please make use of the outside dedicated areas..
They are not allowed on the premises,
Please consider your neighbours - Play music or make a noise, at levels that do not disturb the neighbours,
Please keep your valuables safe at all times – ANNEX The White House is not responsible for any losses.
24 HOUR ARMED RESPONSE
ANNEX The White House is monitored by Park Patrol Security offering 24 Hour Armed Response - Panic Button is installed in the MainBedroom, only to be used in emergencies - all concerns will be addressed.
A 50% Deposit will be Required to secure your Booking and the balance must be paid before your arrival / occupation date.
INDEMNITY : The Owner –
1. Reserves the right of admission.
2. Shall not be liable for : Any loss, Damage or injury, (Personal / Vehicle - Direct or Indirect) arising from the use and occupation of this premises.
3. Supplying alternative accommodation should the premises be damaged by fire, riot, storm or the like.
4. All guests are required to complete an indemnity form on arrival.
5. Copies of Identity Document s to be available on arrival.
commencement date. The cost of replacing any items missing from the inventory list shall be deducted from the refundable deposit / any guest will be liable to pay the difference in costs
