Sorry but we were not impressed. Nobody was waiting for us, we had to call and recall the manager to be sure that we will be able to stay at the place and the breakfast was not included. It is a pity because the place could be much better, but only one bathroom for 6 people, dogs making noise all the night and the garden was very clean. So please remove the 2nd B for this place..

I cannot rate Amblewood any higher than to say it will be my preferred place to stay on my regular bi-annual visits to Grahamstown. It's a pity I hadn't discovered this wonderful place before now.The apartment is spacious and very well equipped and Yvette is a marvelous host.

Stay was fair due to the fact there was a power failure, the emergency lights were available however they were not charged, no candles or matches readily available?

The best guest house I have stayed in with respect to the homely touch. Yvette, this home was spotless and immaculate and the service was great! I would highly recommend guests to use this house.

We stayed at this B&B for one night. Booking easy and owner very friendly and accommodating. Definitely value for money. Only small quibble is that it's not the easiest to find when you are coming in late, and no phone number on the booking form.
