We stayed at Aloes Guest House for one night on our trip to Bokong Nature Reserve. The gutes house is easy to find with several signs leading the way from the main road. We arrived at the Aloes Guest House on Wednesday August 8 from 3pm to 4pm and the least we can say is that the welcome was not warm. The people at the front desk ate and we felt like bothering them. On arrival at the establishment I was informed I was provided a wrong quote. We overnighted in Pitseng on our way back to SA. There was confusion over our fully paid booking and Aloes sent us a 'fully booked' message the day before arrival. Self-catering unit was very clean but basic with no personality. If you stay during the weekend expect it to be very noisy!
