African Retreat is a modern fountainhead style home nestled into the landscape, which energizes your creativity and enlivens the spirit.Multi leveled the house accommodates a total of eight guests, and together with panoramic sea views, well-maintained lawns and an infinity swimming pool, you have found the secluded and private retreat your heart has been longing for. Within 1 hour's drive 3 big games reserves are Botlierskop, Gondwana and Bergsig Game farm. Fish Eagles nest in the gorge the Blind river runs thru in the west of the Estate which is a nature reserve itself.
Overlooks 25km of Boggoms Bay to Vlees Bay which is almost deserted. Surf fishing is popular with good catches and between July and November whales can be seen in the bay.
We have several PGA rated golf courses within an hours drive. In a 10 day holiday you can play on 10 different courses as achieved by a recent couple who stayed.
With 2 lounges and 2 DSTV decoders, adults and children can watch different programmes after returning from a bracing hike or swim. Alternatively the sport can be showing upstairs while a movie in the lower lounge.
With quietness and superb evening sunsets our home oozes romanticism. 180 degree floor to ceiling windows, all rooms enjoy beautiful beach, bush and sunset views.

Important Information
Please note: the rates are variable and are dependent on the amount of people staying.
Currently quoted for two adults and the whole home.
Children under 12yrs contribute R350/day/person.
Minimum Stay 4 nights.
A once-off vacate cleaning fee of R1250.
Before paying any money:
1. The house rules are important and and must be read and accepted in writing prior to booking by all guests.
2. At least 2 references from Safarinow or similar is required by Owner prior to booking.
We rely on honesty with regards to damage to the property, however big or small.
Do not tamper with the pool or pool pump for any reason- notify our house manager.
Upon entering our resort we require identification of each person by either passport or Identification Document if requested.
