About Achab

Achab is located at the foot of the Gamgamichab mountains, only 9.5 km south of Usakos on the D1914 road. Achab has been set aside as a private initiative for conservation of various fauna and flora, including the mountain zebra, leopard and endemic bird species.

Located 150 km from Swakopmund and 200 km from Windhoek, it is the ideal place to get away from it all. Achab offers luxury campsites, scenic views, hiking trails, various natural rock pools, and harbours a variety of free-roaming game including Hartman zebra and leopard, as well as a rich diversity of bird species.

We were assured that we will be met by someone in a couple of minutes after arriving at 17h00.
