Standing right on the beach, with uninterrupted views of the bay and idyllic Langstrand beach, The Beach Hut has one of the finest positions imaginable on the Cape West Coast. From the seaside deck, you step directly onto a deserted, white sand beach that stretches into the distance for kilometres. Often, you could have the beach all to yourself. The Beach Hut is a well-appointed self-catering house and is serviced daily (excluding Sundays and public holidays). It comprises 3 double en-suite bedrooms, one of which includes a loft space with two single beds for children. There is a spacious seafront living area with a log fireplace. Stack doors open up onto the seaside deck with its leisure and dining leisure, along with a gas braai. There is DSTV and wifi throughout the house. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and gas stove. Run entirely on solar power and gas, The Beach Hut is independent of grid power.
Paternoster, as one of the oldest traditional fishing villages on the West Coast, is just 150km from Cape Town. It's renowned for its unspoiled beaches, fresh seafood offerings and natural beauty. There are often dolphins frolicking in the bay and whales are seen in season from The Beach Hut. During August and September, Spring daisies transform Paternoster and surrounds into a floral fantasyland. Paternoster is also home to over 250 bird species.
Activities and attractions here are numerous and include: beach buggy trips, horseriding on the beach, surfing and kite surfing, sea kayaking, paddleskiing, hiking, mountain biking and long beach walks. The village also has quaint shops and excellent restaurants, along with a small waterfront which is home to an intimate theatre, good restaurants, small shops and offerings from local artists in the Art Shed.
Children 8 years and older are most welcome. Regrettably no pets are allowed. The above tariffs are subject to change without notice. Tariffs on confirmed reservations, for which a deposit has been received, will be held.

★★★★★ I stayed at the Beach Hut for a weekend and it literally felt as if I had a one week holiday. The kitchen is really well equipped and everything that you would have in your own kitchen is there. The view from the stoep is fantastic.
