Nearly had me heading for the hills!! But....... so glad I stayed. This quirky little place right on the SA/Namibia boarder overlooks the Orange River offers really good value for money, is spotlessly clean and an all round good find. Granted it's not 4* but I had 4* treatment, AnnMarie, Solume and Marlyn could not have done any more for me. They took me into their home with open arms, nothing was too much trouble, even organ...

Morning,When we arrived at Spogplaas at midday of April 13th, we were told by the owners that they informed SafariNow a few days prior to our arrival that they could not receive any guests because, due to circumstances, they had no water and no electricity. As the booking went throu SafariNow directly, the owners assured  us that SafariNow was asked to inform all guests that nobody could be received during that period of time. If this is correct, and as we didn't receive any notification, we are very disappointed in the way SafariNow is handling it's customers. We were lucky that we could...

The Port Nolloth beachfront with its neat and spacious waterfront layout, including ample parking, is a great place for long strolls on the beach, or just to relax in the sun on the clean sand. Grazia de Beer, after whom the beach was named, has...
