Michael-Angelo Guest House is hidden away within a peaceful neighbourhood. This double-storey 'Grande Dame' offers our guests a pleasant, stylish, private and rustic classical stay. Wake up to the chirping of birds and, after a sumptuous breakfast served in the function hall, one is fully equipped to attend to daily commitments.
At Michael-Angelo Guest House we have six state of the art en-suite bedrooms with all amenities. French doors open onto the pool and entertainment area and all rooms have private entrances. All rooms are wheelchair friendly.
Although rooms are completely separate and private, guests may make use of the boudoir grand piano and imposing white staircase with red carpet, ideal for a bride's special day.
The NWU Botanical Garden is situated adjacent to the Potchefstroom campus of the North-West University. It covers an area of almost three hectares and most of the plants in the botanical garden are indigenous, with the exception of a few exotic plants which are of botanical or medicinal interest.
MooiRivier Mall has over 100 stores and boasts food and entertainment facilities that overlook the Mooi River. The Dome Bergland Nature Park is the site of a meteorite impact some 2000 million years ago.
The city has many buildings and other structures that have been declared national monuments such as The Old Gunpowder House, Old Police Station Building, Kruger Kraal Opstal, Heimat Building and the historic Magistrate's Office.
