Jabali means "small mountain" and wild pig. Jabali, as the name indicates, is located at the foot of a mountain aptly named Rhenosterkop and is a private nature reserve with spectacular views over Gauteng. Located just 80 km from Pretoria, it is easily accessible by tar road.
The reserve offers the most spectacular hiking trails encompassing wetlands, mountain and grassland. Jabali is also of great historical importance. Visit the graves of the English and the Boers and follow in the footsteps of the early pioneers.
