About Izindlula Lodge

Guests hoping to experience a true bushveld getaway will not be disappointed when choosing to stay at Izindlula Lodge. It is a great choice for families or groups visiting the scenic holiday town of Marloth Park.

This lovely lodge has three spacious bedrooms. One room has a king-size bed, one has a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom, and the last room has two double bunks. There is also an additional bathroom for guests to make use of.

Guests can prepare delicious meals in the fully equipped kitchen and enjoy them on the outside patio while watching zebra and giraffe grazing nearby. The comfortable living area is the ideal space to relax in while the large windows provide plenty of natural light and views of the bush.

The lodge is situated just a short distance away from the Crocodile River, which is a great spot to appreciate the abundance of bird- and wild life living in this area. End the day off at the boma while sipping a drink next to the crackling fire and experiencing a beautiful bushveld sunset.

My handicapped niece was surprised by the space and she was pleased by the nice shower. It was raining and cold and we had only summer sheets on the beds without any bedspreads, blankets or duvets. Perhaps we should have been told to bring along blankets. Everything else was fine and we enjoyed staying in the bush. We even heard lions roaring far away in the Kruger National Park.

Getting the keys from the field office was very complicated and time consuming. Expected to find someone at the "Lodge" to get keys, but had to ask around and call when arriving. Finally got into the house after about an hour. Upon leaving I was told by the field office that I somehow did not proberly activate the alarm and therefore have to pay a "fine".House itself is basic but ok. With a few improvements it could be a really nice place.

We had a great night. ...peaceful and quite. Loved the open plan house and had everything we needed.
