About Ingwenya View

Ingwenya View is a cosy double-storey holiday house situated in the popular Marloth Park Conservancy.

The house, which can sleep up to a maximum of eight people, has four bedrooms. Three bedrooms have double beds and one has two single beds. The two bathrooms have showers only. Bed linen will be supplied as required and beds made up prior to guests arrival; however, towels are not provided.

The lounge has a flat screen TV, and a DStv decoder with smart card. MultiChoice's premier package can be activated for guests on request at no extra charge. This will be dependent on guests giving us 24 hours’ notice for smart card activation, and available signal; the dish sometimes loses signal due to baboon activity.

The house has a dining area and the kitchen is fully equipped. There is a large fridge-freezer and a microwave oven in the kitchen. There are wall fans installed throughout the house. The house has an electrical feed but the stove and water heating are fed from a gas supply.

The unit is serviced weekly and has an alarm system linked to the Field Security armed response. Braai facilities are provided and there is a large upstairs lookout decking over a double car port. The latest addition is a good quality splash pool which is installed adjacent to the house.

At Ingwenya View we have regular sightings of the Big 5 from our upstairs decking with our resident hippos and crocodiles abundant in the Crocodile River. Frequent visitors to the house are zebra, kudu, impala, wildebeest, giraffe, warthog, bushbuck, mongoose, genet and bush babies, not to mention the prolific birdlife which boasts over 300 of South Africa's finest species.

Children are more than welcome at Ingwenya View and are encouraged to join you, as viewing the passing animals is a memorable experience. The world famous Kruger National Park is on our doorstep and there are great views across the Crocodile River into the Kruger from the upstairs decking.

The Kruger Park's Malelane and Crocodile Bridge gates are approximately 25 km from Marloth Park which allows guests to spend the day in this mesmerising park while still being able to return and light the braai, take a dip in the pool and listen to the magical sounds of the African night which often includes the call of lion both within the Kruger Park and in Marloth's very own private reserve, Lionspruit.

Ingwenya View guarantees to give you the true experience of the African bushveld while enjoying and having a truly relaxing break away from the stresses of modern day life.

Safari: Wildlife roam freely through the conservancy which borders the Kruger National Park.

The most amazing get-away place we've ever been to. Want to come back again and again. In love with Marloth park and the house.

In general the house has most items needed. The lounge is upstairs with no seating arrangement on the ground floor. The beds was a huge disappointment, definitely not acceptable when accommodating paying guests.   We were also informed that there would be a lady to do the general cleaning on a Thursday, never saw anyone during our 3 day stay. It is definitely not recommended to visit this house during the summer as the temp inside the house was 34 dg late at night and the wall mounted fans is definitely not sufficient.Images are very misleading as you have no view over the Crocodile river, the...

Ingwenya View was a piece of heaven. Beautiful and peaceful just what I needed for the Easter Weekend holiday. House is very clean and well equipped. Its close to the crocodile river so we got to see a lot of elephants, rhino's and the kudu's and hear the hippo's. Will definitely come back again.Recommendation to the owner is to look into the upstairs lighting and adjusting of the hot water in the showers.

The house was fine in the sense that everything was there that you need. We were thankful for all the fridge space and the pool. I would however not recommend to use this house in the hottest months of the year. The fans in the house does not help at all for the heat buildup in the house. You cannot leave the windows open for air as it is not baboon safe. The stove/ oven is not great. There is also not adequate light upstairs, there are few lamps with black lampshades. Unfortunately we also had generator noise throughout the 5 days from another property nearby. I am sure in winter months the...
