The Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate offers the experiences of feeling like you are miles away from everything, yet you are only a few minutes from the convenience of the tourist town of Hoedspruit, with its selection of well-stocked shops and restaurants. Major attractions such as the Kruger National Park and Blyde River Canyon, the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre, Moholoholo Rehabilitation Centre, Bombyx Silk Farm, Khamai Reptile Park, and Hoedspruit giant Boabab tree are just a short drive away.

There are a number of game drive routes on the estate itself, including two elevated bird hides overlooking dams. Game such as impala, kudu, zebra, giraffe, warthog, wildebeest, waterbuck, eland, hyena and buffalo roam freely between the lodges, making your stay in Hoedspruit unforgettable. If you are lucky, you might even see a leopard or lion on the estate.

Use your self-catering lodge on Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate as a base to explore the estate, the Kruger Park, or the beautiful Hoedspruit area, or just chill on your patio and let the wildlife come to you.

Our self-catering luxury lodges can accommodate between four and eight people, depending on the size of the lodge. The lodges are fully equipped, with all cutlery, crockery, linen and towels, as well as fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle provided.
