About Fairview Historic Homestead
Experience hospitality in a unique and authentic Cape Georgian historical home dating back to 1861. Fairview Homestead is a 7 bedroom guest house in B&B style – that means we, the owners, live on the premises. Our guest rooms are private, but we have a communal lounge/dining room for the guests. In summer breakfast is served on the back porch and in winter we light the fire in the dining room. The rooms are furnished with antiques, but offers all modern amenities associated with a boutique B&B. Free WIFI & secure off-street parking,
Fairview Historic Homestead is situated 8 km from the closest beach and close to various golf courses and George Airport. Our garden is an attraction in its own right and we can also set up visits to other private gardens for garden enthusiasts.
Wedding Venues: Available 10 am to 4 pm; makes perfect sense if you are getting married at a venue surrounding George as the make-up artist, hair dresser, photographer can attend to the bride at a central venue.
Family friendly: Although all our rooms are furnished with double beds, two of them also have a single bed. We also supply a cot for little ones. .The huge garden and salt water swimming pool offer plenty of opportunities for the family to relax together.
Romantic: The rooms, furnished with antiques, including four poster beds, and working Victorian fireplaces in the old homestead, together with the huge garden make for an ideal romantic setting.
