Blue Sky Mining was an okay place to stay.  Not great, but not bad.  It seems like there is too much staff, and subsequently they look bored and is very slow.  There are not any water taps in the camping area, and they don't allow electricity leads from the cabins 5metres away.  The two new bathrooms are nice, except that no broom/squeegee is provided to dry the open plan floor.  Nice swimming pools.

This place truly is a hidden gem and I almost wish no one would find out about it :)I normally use them once a week during a business trip but decided to take my family before the school holiday started. We had a great stay. Thanks

The place is beautiful and staff was most nice and welcoming but manager treated us like a naught school kids with thousand rules, and bed are so uncomfortable with old linens and very old and hard towels, The pictures displayed online are nothing compare to what you see when you get there. expect the pool and garden.

I had the most enjoyable stay at the Blue Sky Mining Backpackers Lodge. My room was very comfortable and clean. The staff were most helpful and friendly. Although I asked for self catering, I ate at the Lodge almost every day as their food was outstanding and such good value. Thank you for making my stay so pleasant. I will certainly be back.
