The scenery was fabulous. We stayed in the Mossie cottage. On arrival we got stuck in the mud. No help anywhere. The cottage was acceptable, but smelt very musty and damp. Unfortunately it rained and the rain came running through the cottage like a river. In the kitchen cupboard, the bathroom and the main area. The fridge kept sparking due the wires all lying on the floor and getting wet. The toilet is loose and could fall through the floor at any time. It was such a pity as the location is fabulous. Establishment's Response:The Haenertsburg area has thankfully received excessive rains over...

Tranquil, quiet and very rustic yes, but no TV, hair dryer or dam views as advertised. Plenty of ants, old soap etc left in bathroom. Not realy worthwhile.

We really enjoyed our stay. The views and clean air are just what one needs. Will recommend this resort to anybody who wants to get away from everything (even cell phones and TV)

Excellent accommodation in a tranquil surrounding with plenty to do in the area. Zeederberg House in Black Mountain Forest Lodge was extremely well equipped which made the stay all the more enjoyable.

It was really not what we expected.  Don't go on the pictures that you see, it doesn't look anything like that.
