About 86 on Jubilee

My traditional heritage home is located in a quiet suburb of Oudtshoorn, and recently opened its doors to welcome guests to enjoy this haven in the little Karoo. Offering a large one-bedroom cottage and a studio cottage, both of which have their own bathroom, as well as a kitchen, private entrances, undercover parking, Wi-Fi and DSTv. They offer a comfortable space to relax and enjoy this part of the world, with town close by, offering excellent restaurants and shopping. Located 40 minutes from George airport, with the Cango Caves, ostrich farms, Meerkat experiences and many other attractions close by.

Reason for title. Despite it being 42C outside the room was cool because of the structure - Thick walls and high ceilings. The bed was super comfortable, but the kitchen was not fully equipped as stated. No hot plate or pots and fridge too small and struggling with the heat.

Rust en Vrede is a lovely little waterfall that runs 365 days a year – even though it is found in the Klein Karoo. During the summer many people enjoy a picnic or braai under the trees at the entrance followed by a walk and a swim at this gorgeous...
