The Crags is the best!
The Crags is one of the best holiday destinations in South Africa. It has a farmlike quality without being to far from shops, restaurants and other amenities.Staying in the Crags is definitely a awesome experience. Monkeyland and Birds of Eden are two of the must do activities! The best experience ever for nature lovers. One would like to spend more than a day in these sanctuaries. Next on the list is the Canopy Tours in Stormsrivier, where you can experience an adrenaline rush high up in the tree tops. Speaking of adrenaline, bungy jumping is being done on a regular basis at the Bloukran...

The peaceful widely spaced area called The Crags, 20km from Plettenberg Bay is a must see or stay for the traveler who wants a bit of nature, wildlife, local arts and crafts and fabulous daytime gastronomic delights. You can spend at least three days in this area alone. From forest walks, birding, exploring the animal attractions on Animal Alley such as Monkeyland, Birds of Eden, Tenikwa, the snack park and The elephant Santuary, wine tasting at Bramon wine estate to arts and crafts at the Mohair Village...It really has everything for the traveler who wants to explore everything!

Nature rules....
Nature rules in The Crags and it’s definitely the place to get up close and personal with animals and birds. If you are into monkeys and lemurs, Monkeyland is the worlds first multi-species free-roaming primate sanctuary and their experienced guides will take you on a wonderful safari. The Birds of Eden will keep you entertained for hours as you walk through the largest single free flight Aviary in the world filled with the most amazing birds in a setting that will take your breath away. These world class animal sanctuaries are the pride and joy of The Crags. An opportunity to interact...
