About Alto Wine Estate
Alto Wine Estate is proudly South Africa's oldest red wine estate, with history dating back as far as 1693, and excellent wines to match.
The wine estate welcomes visitors to participate in some wine tasting, which will include a selection of Rouge, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, and port. For the more inquisitive, visitors are allowed to explore the impressive barrel cellar.
Wine tasting and sales are open weekdays from 9:00 to 17:00, and weekends from 10:00 to 16:00 (including public holidays).
