7 Day Safari from South to North Kruger Let us show you the wild side to life, the good life with all the colours and beauty of the African bush. Day One Shuttle from JHB Airport to Hazyview. Then meet your accredited safari guide and head into the Kruger park for an afternoon safari in an open vehicle. Stay overnight in a Kruger Park camp in a permanent or pitched tent. After dinner enjoy the sounds of the wildlife in the Kruger Park. Day Two and Three Both days are full day safaris. The southern region of Kruger has more rain and it has the highest concentration of wildlife and predators of any park in the world so sightings will be amazing. Spend both nights in a Kruger Park camp in a permanent or pitched tent. Day Four and Five Its off to the middle region of the 400+ kms long Kruger park where you will also stay in tented camps. This region is more flat so amazing views of wide open spaces with tons of elephants moving around and also some animals such as cheetah occur mostly in these areas. It is also the start of the massive African baobabs. There are gem like panorama view points and hidden away waterholes dotted all over. As it is dryer and more open all the animals concentrate around the more lush water holes. Day Six and Seven It’s off to the remote north of the Kruger park and quieter tented camps. This amazing region is much loved by the guides themselves. There are very little other vehicles and one can travel for hours alone. The totally varied habitat means changing visuals all the time from wide rivers to mountains and then the dense forest tunnels along the Great Limpopo river to enjoy totally on your own. This is big area, massive tuskers, massive herds of buffalo and big open African skies. By now you will have a lifetime of memories and even award winning photos. So it’s off to the shuttle for your trip back to JHB.

Rhino Post Camp is a 16-bed lodge, set on the banks of the Mutlumuvi Riverbed, in a 12,000 ha private wilderness concession in the Kruger National Park. This unique wilderness area offers ecotourists the ideal place for encounters with the Big Five and allows visitors to track elephant and rhino on foot or view them from the comfort of open safari vehicles. The nature of a wilderness area is that there are no permanent structures, so Rhino Post Camp was built using natural materials of stone, wood, thatch and canvas to create an authentic bush ambience. Each luxury suite is exquisitely decorated and includes bedroom and lounge with impressive views of the riverbed from the bathroom, outdoor shower and decked patio. Following a walking safari or game drive, guests can relax in the revitalising swimming pool, take in the views from the shaded patio and watch the abundant wildlife amble down to the waterhole. Sumptuous meals are served in the camp’s dining area, which is set under magnificent Tamboti trees. The lounge, with its extensive wine cellar, cosy fireplace and bar, is the perfect spot for a sundowner. For something special, spoil yourself with a little pampering in the rejuvenation centre. In the spirit of wilderness areas worldwide, Rhino Post Camp has been specially designed and built to have minimal impact on the environment. Few permanent structures were used in the construction of this magnificent camp. Low energy lighting, solar assisted power production, natural materials, raised walkways and bedrooms are but some of the low impact measures we have taken.

When the world was still young, some 3500 million years ago, molten rock forced its way through the earth's crust and solidified to form the spectacular granite outcrops where Pretoriuskop Rest Camp is now nestled. The impressive granite dome known as “Shabeni Hill” is not far from the camp, which is found in the southwestern corner of the Kruger National Park. It is immediately apparent to any visitor that Pretoriuskop is unique as brilliant red trees adorn the camp, pre-dating the decision to make exclusive use of indigenous plants in laying out rest camp gardens. Nostalgia prompted an exception to the rule for Pretoriuskop, the Kruger National Park's oldest rest camp, and exotic flowering plants were allowed to stay, enhancing the strong sense of the past that is so pervasive. Please note the rates displayed are subject to the number of adults as well as children staying, hence we advise guests to request the appropriate tariffs.

Satara is a busy camp, and not without reason. It is situated in an excellent game viewing area, with the bush relatively open and the animals plentiful and diverse. The camp itself has a rustic charm, with the bulk of the accommodation set out in a series of circles. Satara is well wooded and the bird-life is prolific. At night the clink of fruit bats is fused with the chirping of cicadas and crickets. The calls of owls and nightjars add to the symphony that is punctuated intermittently by the whoop of hyena, the screech of jackal and the roars of lion.
