Beaches Restaurant has an envied position in Yzerfontein, overlooking the 16 Mile Beach. True to its name, Beaches Restaurant’s theme consists of brightly coloured umbrellas on the deck, white washed tables and chairs and bright tablecloths.
The menu offers a majority of seafood but some meat and vegetarian dishes are available. The Beaches Basket is great for a snack with samosas, springrolls, fish bites, mussels and calamari.

Bertie’s Moorings is located in the Gordon's Bay Waterfront. It is a family run restaurant deriving its name from the Bertie Reed, a famous yacht. The restaurant can seat 120 people overlooking the water. Inside is a hand-crafted bar made from an oak barrel by Bertie himself.
Live entertainment is offered on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. Bertie's also shows major sporting events on their big screen.

Somerset West Seafood restaurant
This cheery, vibrant seafood restaurant is situated in the beautiful Somerset West. The interior is simple and understated and the ambience relaxed, casual, friendly and welcoming.
The menu offers a large variety of dishes, mainly sushi and seafood. Try the baby Kingklip if available. The calamari and the mussels are also perfectly prepared and well worth the price.
