Town of Little Karoo
Calitzdorp; heart of the Klein Karoo
The Klein Karoo is an important sub-region of the World Heritage Site known as the Cape Floral Kingdom. Klein Karoo means ‘little desert’, an arid region that is interrupted every forty or fifty kilometers by fertile valleys bisected by streams that enable orchards and vineyards to flourish. Indeed, Route 62, the main highway traversing this fascinating land, is famed as the longest wine route in the world. And Calitzdorp is its heart. The Klein Karoo has a spectacular landscape fashioned hundreds of millions ago of years ago by water and geological upheaval. Its flora ranges from lush greenery...see more

Port Owen is the Best!!!
Port Owen is one of the many jewels of South Africa. It is quiet and tranquil and a welcome break away from the everyday hussle and bussle of city-life. Port Owen is beautiful and there is a lot of sightseeing to do in the surrounding areas. We had a wonderful stay with Kevin and Sally at their guest-house, Le Marina, and could sit and watch the river with houses on opposite sides as well as the sailboats the whole day.The people of Port Owen is friendly and very hospitable. One of the many highlights was braaing on the balcony and drinking a sundowner at sunset. We will definitely be seeing...see more
Town of Rietvlei Bitou Valley
Plett is amazing!
We visited Plett in December 2011, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If it wasn't spending our days enjoying the white sandy blue flag beaches, it was exploring the many lovely restaurants in the area. Plett is only a short drive away from exploring the Tsitsikama forest and the lovely town of Knysna. I would highly recommend visiting this jewel on the coast of South Africa.
Town of Panorama Route Road Trip
So very lovely
Sabie is one of the most picturesque towns we have ever been to. Driving in any direction from town you'll find the most breathtaking scenery in South Africa. Indescribably lovely!
Game Reserve of Drakensberg
Cathedral Peak - Drakensberg
What an amazing honeymoon destination in South Africa, and we'll be going back every year - yes! From our many walks into the berg, the helicopter flip with picnic, the horses, the amazing food and even catering for our Vegan Diet.. wow! Our stay was complimentary to an amazing set of staff members and just a good atmosphere to chill, relax, go at your own pace and have fun!The honeymoon sweet/executive suite's are EXCELLENT, presidential sweet looks even better though :)

Falling in love with the forgotten mountain- the Soutpansberg
Going to the Soutpansberg means going the rewarding extra mile! When travelling along the N1(the great North) through the Limpopo Province towards Louis Trichardt (Makhado) a hazy mountain range - the Soutpansberg rises out of the bushveld plain. Its name originated from a saltpan on the northern slopes. Entering the mountain the environment changes dramatically. In contrast to the dry bushveld one is suddenly surrounded by moist forests, cliffs and steep rocky slopes. Moisture-laden southeasterly winds form clouds which shroud the steep southern slopes providing one of the most unique and...see more
