    More than just a wineroute
The region consist of 27 wineries in the following areas: Breede River, Goudini, Rawsonville & Slanghoek. The Breedekloof Valley is only an hour away from the buzz of Cape Town, yet spending a day or more will feel like you have escaped far, far away. You will return home rejuvenated & re-energised. Breedekloof has a lot to offer especially our Soetes & Soup Festival in July and our upcoming event Breedekloof Outdoor & Wine Festival from the 11th - 13th October.

    Refreshing Rawsonville
We attended a wedding earlier in the year in Rawsonville and despite its sleepy country town appearance, there is a lot on offer. It is a wonderful place to get in touch with nature and good old fashioned values. Accommodation varying from comfortable B&B's to rustic camping is on offer. The emphasis is on nature based activities - so walking, hiking, wine tasting, bird watching, river rafting, horse riding, fishing are all the order of the day.Goudini Spa is a warm water springs resort that draws many and coupled with wine farms and friendly people it's a superb weekend away especially for a...

'A sight to behold' and an 'expeience' to rave about!
The beauty about the Breedekloof (Rawsonville) area is, it is less than an hour's drive from CapeTown. Majestic mountains and vineyards are soothing to the eye. A breakaway to Rawsonville, is as good as a 3 week holiday abroad! Lovely little eateries and wine cellar bistro's - too many to mention are available!

    A real gem!
Such a beautiful town and the mountains, vineyards and cloud formations really captured my heart and imagination. The drive from Durbanville to Rawsonville was a quick 45 minutes. There are numerous wine farms to do wine tasting, Goudini Spa with its warm baths and nature-based activities.A super place to relax and unwind, yet not too far to drive to do so.We attended a wedding at Opstal Estate and Restaurant which is a lovely establishment with scenic views, good food and is child friendly.
