The breakfasts served are fresh home-baked bread, fruit salad, cereals, yoghurt, cheese, meat and a hot breakfast that is cooked according to your order. The products used are mainly produced locally. The Swartberg Mountains are in full view from the veranda and the setting sun can be watched from the wooden deck. The Tented Chalets offer a unique bush experience where the quality is in the detail. They are perched on wooden decks in the bush and great care has been taken to ensure privacy and unique views. Situated in the richly historic town of Oudtshoorn in the heart of the Klein Karoo, Kleinplaas is within walking distance of curio shops, restaurants and the central town area. Oudtshoorn is located in the centre of Route 62, a spectacular scenic drive from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth. Accommodation is offered in affordable open-plan chalets with kitchenettes that are fully equipped for self-catering, bathrooms with a shower over the bath, TV with M-Net, ceiling fans, and under cover parking. All chalets are also serviced daily. Continental and buffet breakfasts are served until 10am every morning, with dinners by arrangement. Traditional braais and potjies are the speciality. Kleinplaas also offers landscaped gardens and a variety of farm animals for the children.
