Elgin was always "a drive past on my way to somewhere else" place. That and the place of Peregrine's famous pies of course. The newly opened Railway Market was wonderful: an absolutely stunningly designed property (inside and out) with a giant pig heater in the centre of the hangar-like space. Divine and broad range of fabulous food and drink available (the gins were an absolute tonic to the soul.
